Winemaking:
Highly selective handpicking in 20kg boxes and carried to the winery in cooled vehicle. Atipical vinification for the Alentejo.
Natural and spontaneous alcoholic and malolactic fermentation.
Cuvaison of over 20 days.
Bottled without filtration.

Aging: 16 months in new barrels: 50% French Oak, fine grain medium toasted and 50% American Oak medium grain, average + toasted.

Tasting Notes:
Concentrated ruby colour.
Intense nose of wild berries and spices.
Medium body, with a mouth-feel, full of aroma and ripe tannins.
Soil type:
Clay(ey) limestone of medium depth.
Climate:
Mediterranean. Hot dry days and cool nights.

Storing and Serving:
Preserve at 14-16 ºC, serve at 18ºC to be drunk at 20ºC.
